Praxis 2011-12 Pre Order Sale

Mountain Jib - Praxis SkisAs discussed in our previous post regarding the best time to buy some Handmade skis, it is right now. Here’s a note I just received from Keith O’Meara, owner of Praxis, which are handcrafted skis in the Sierra Nevada’s.

“It’s that time of year again.   Ski magazines are on the racks again, the days are getting shorter and the nights are getting colder.  The Praxis Skis crew has been working hard to create our best crop of skis ever.   The 2012 lineup has evolved from years of refinements and testing, continuous analysis on durability, and a proven construction standard.

Praxis Skis is producing cutting edge ski designs that are being tested and proven on Freeskiing Competition venues around the world.   Working with top Freeskiing athletes is a driving force behind the R&D and evolution of our ski designs.   The results speak for themselves, with Drew Tabke winning the 2011 World Freeskiing Overall Champion Title in 2011, on a quiver of Praxis skis, and Kevin O’Meara repeatedly crawling off the assembly line with the latest creation to showcase his dominating Freeskiing abilities and proudly display his Praxis Skis on the podium.

However, as many of you already know, our skis are not limited to Big Mountain chargers like Drew and Kevin. With an incredibly diverse offering, Praxis Skis certainly has something for everybody. After all, passionate skiers creating and building skis that we are extremely proud of is what separates us from the rest.

So take a look at the recently released Praxis Skis 2012 lineup. Over here at Praxis Skis we couldn’t be more pleased with what’s currently being produced in our factory; this year’s lineup is without a doubt the best lineup we have ever produced, with an overall intent on making Off Piste Freeride and Powder skiing easier and more fun for the average skier.

Take advantage of our low Pre Order sale prices, and save an additional 10% with the coupon code “SteepAnDeep“. But, hurry these prices will not last long, production is limited and many models are subject to selling out.”

I’ve skied the Praxis Concept’s and they were quite versatile considering all the conditions I had experienced. Check out my Praxis Concept review for more details. If you plan on skiing in Tahoe this season, you should line up a demo with one of Keith’s dealers, as even if you don’t buy a pair, you will get a good education in ski construction and theory.

In an upcoming post, we will have an update on the lastest happenings at Praxis and what you can expect to see from them in the upcoming ski season.
